LogiMat vertical lift modules consist of a very large container with two columns of stacked trays, an elevator, and an extractor. When in use, the elevator spans the entire container of trays, selecting the desired individual tray and transferring it to the pick window, eliminating any bending or reaching by the operator. All of the system’s vertical travel is done through the use of a rack and pinion driven design for smooth, fast, and precise positioning during insertion and extraction of the trays.
LogiMat vertical lift modules have direct drive motors that are integrated into the vertical lift, which eliminates the need for chains and counterweights. This, in turn, helps reduce operating noise levels and maintenance costs, as there is no need for periodic slack/level adjustments. This type of lift module comes fully equipped with a security door and is easily adjusted so that the counter is at the perfect height and the tray tilts at the right forward angle when delivering parts to the picker.
